Do you have a
neighbor who is especially helpful? Someone who is always looking
out for you, the other neighbors, and the neighborhood?
We need your help in finding these people in our neighborhood so
we can honor them at our fall block party.
If you would like to nominate someone, please take a few minutes to
fill out the Good Neighbor
Nomination form by September 8. And feel free to nominate more than one neighbor!

Middle School Connector to East Bay
Major construction
was
completed by August 18, and now we get to watch the art and landscaping
go in.

This is our
top-priority project for 2006 - making it safe for students to get
to school and all of us to get to Friendly Grove Park! Construction
is scheduled to begin late this summer, and should be complete by the
end of September or early October. The sidewalk will be 6
feet wide and will run from Fir Street to Friendly Grove
Road. It will be set back from the street by a 6- to
10-foot separation. Some sections will have a storm water
ditch between the sidewalk and the edge of the travel
lane. For more information, visit the City's Web
site.
